As the first ever practice for the NHSA nears, the excitement for our new league builds. We have far surpassed sign-up expectations and the league set up is going as planned. We are truly excited about our brand of soccer and we are very confident that the players, parents and coaches will have an awesome experience this Fall!
The number of signed up players has gone over 150! The Ohio Youth Soccer people tell us that we have far exceeded what new soccer leagues do in their first year!
Our "Academy" style of soccer is highly recommended at every level of the soccer community. We have spent a great deal of time learning about how to teach kids soccer and we are confident that each player will benefit from what we are all about!
Our calendar of events is filling up fast...please put the following dates on your dayplanner...
COACHES MEETING: Thursday, August 23 6:30-8:30 NORDONIA LIBRARY. Coaches will be introduced to the NHSA brand of soccer and get info on how practices and games will work.
OPENING DAY RIBBON CUTTING AND ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Saturday, August 25 between 11am - 2pm. Mayor cuts the ribbon at Smtih Park at Noon. Uniforms will be distributed to those in attendance. Feel free to stop by between those hours.
FIRST PRACTICE: Thursday, August 30 6pm (for less than 90 mins)...ALL PRACTICES have been moved to SAGAMORE PARK across from the Sagamore Hills Town Hall/police station. Because we signed up more kids than expected, the larger field was necessary so we could all practice at the same time.
ALL GAMES will be played on Saturdays at SMITH PARK.
The Nordonia Hills Soccer Association will keep you updated with everything you need to know throughout the season. Feel free to check in with this website and blog for the very latest. If you have any questions about anything to do with the league, call 440-570-2593 or email us through this website.
Welcome to the 2007 Fall Soccer Season with The Nordonia Hills Soccer Association. Thank you for helping to make this a very special inaguarl season!
