WHY THE NHSA???

We often get asked, 'why should our kids play in The Nordonia Hills Soccer Association?' Here are a few reasons we think The NHSA provides the best soccer format in the area....

*The NHSA feels that EVERY player should play soccer the entire time they are at practice AND games. We gurantee that EVERY player gets 100% playing time. We feel the best way to teach soccer, is to let kids PLAY soccer.

*We are the league havin' the most fun. We feel that kids ages 4-10 need to have fun learning the game. We are dedicated to making sure our players enjoy learning the game thru fun drills and games. We also make sure that kids get as many "touches" on the ball as possible.

*Our style of soccer gives young players a chance to build their confidence. We constantly put kids in a situatin where they can be successful. We match up like-players and play "shorted-sided" games that provide kids more opportunites to be involved in the game.

*We have skills awards for our players. To encourage kids to improve their individual skills, we provide patches for various skills from a certified soccer coach.

*We put our emphasis on the kids...not the parents and coaches. We create a competitive and educational environment for our players and take away the "politics" of youth soccer.

*We provide a full uniform including reversable jersey, shorts and socks.

*We have the biggest and best soccer banquet planned for the end of the season on Saturday, October 25th at noon at Northfield Park.

*We provide one of the top soccer websites in the area at www. NHSAsoccer.org and get high marks for communicating with players and parents.

*We encourage feedback both on and off the field. The NHSA is YOUR soccer league. We feel that we are as strong as the parents, families, players and coaches.
