The Nordonia Hills Soccer Association has announced dates for The Fall Soccer Season. The NHSA's 5th season begins Thursday, September 10th and runs thru Saturday, October 24th.
The NHSA is a youth soccer league for players 4-10 years old and also offers Travel Soccer for The Nordonia Hills area. Last season, The NHSA fielded 5 different Travel Soccer teams including U-9 and U-10 Boys and U-10, U-12 and U-14 Girls teams.
The NHSA has increased its number of players four seasons in a row and expects to set another record during the Fall Soccer season.
"Without question, we are growing soccer in Nordonia Hills", league President Allan Fee said. "We are thrilled at the number of players in the league and excited for the upcoming Fall Season."
This summer, The NHSA is offering free soccer with its "Summer of Soccer" every Thursday night at Smith Park on Houghton Road in Northfield, Ohio. Past, current and future NHSA players are invited to a FREE night of soccer from 6:30-8pm. The "SOS" program is new this season and is intended to be an informal game day every Thursday evening. Players of all ages will be encouraged to play "pick-up" games and will enjoy other soccer-related events.
"The SOS program offers kids in the area playing time over the summer break and will help them prepare for the Fall season in a comfortable and fun environment. We believe that the more kids play soccer, the better they will play and learn the game" Fee said.
